LP8758-E0: What does the OTP EPROM do and how do I use it?

Part Number: LP8758-E0

What does the OTP EPROM do in this part?  There's reference to it being loaded during reset.  Can it be used to change the default voltage values for instance?  There's really not a lot of info about it in the datasheet.

  • Hello Eric,

OTP is used for storing the default configuration, such as voltage levels, startup sequence etc. During startup the register defaults are read from the OTP. User cannot reprogram it, the OTP is programmed at TI production line.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
