CSD19534Q5A: Power loss calculation

Team,

my customer is using CSD19534 in a project. They are currently calculating power losses based on our app note SLPA009A.
To verify their results, they compared their calculations with our MOSFET Power Loss Calculator tool.

The tool delivers much lower loss values than the method described in SLPA009A.

Does Power Loss Calculator include all losses?
Any idea where this difference is coming from?

    The equations used in the Power Loss Calculator are completely based on those described in the CSI app note you mentioned. Even second order effects like parasitic inductance are considered. 

    So all that to say, I have no idea where the difference is coming from. Do you want to send me the methodology used to calculate losses prior to plugging into the tool? Maybe there is a mistaken assumption, or maybe there is an error with the tool.
