TPS55340 does not boost

Hi,

I have the same issue, Vin 5-6V, Vout 30V, Iout 0.5A.

Vin is 6.3V Without Enalbe (0V) there is nearly 6V at Vout and when I set enable to 6.3V, Vout starts to oscilate and heats up fast.

Is there any solution, did I do anything wrong?

    Hello Irene,

     We are not seeing the schematic or picture that you included with your post.  Could you please re-send it by clicking the REPLY button.  Once the new text box appears, be sure to first click the "Use Rich Formatting" button, then the "file attach" icon in the editor bar. to attach the schematic or drawing

    Hi there!

    Thanks for the reply. there was something wrong with the Diode, as I figured out. but there is a problem that the 5-6V at Vin is constantly on Vout as well, even if the converter is disabled...

    is this normal?

    Hello
    There is a pass-through pass from the input power supply to the output load through your high-side diode.
    The output voltage will be equal or greater than your input voltage minus diode drop .
