BQ77905: bq77905 relay based for charge & discharge

Hi,

Is it possible to use charge/discharge relay in bq77905 instead of charge/discharge mosfets. Since current required is around 300A on discharge.

If yes, is there any reference design?

    Hi Deepak,

    It is possible to use relays instead of FETs for charge/discharge. If you want the bq77905 to drive the relay directly, just make sure that the bq77905 FET driver specifications are not exceeded. Section 7.1 of datasheet covers the maximum current of the driver and 7.5 has the drivers voltage specs.

    There is no current reference design using relays.
