TPS61099: Possible Datasheet Error

Hello all,

The datasheet for the TPS61099 device, in the Pin Configurations section (page 3) states:

"Voltage feedback of adjustable output voltage. Connect to the center tap of a resistor divider to program

the output voltage. Connect to GND pin for fixed output voltage versions."

But in section "9.2.1.1.2 (page 13) Programming the Output Voltage" It states:

"For fixed output voltage versions, the FB pin should be connected to the VOUT pin directly. The TPS61099x offers diverse fixed voltage versions, refer to Device Comparison Table for version details."

Please clarify which of these statements is correct

Please dis-regard post. I see that the TPS61099 is the adjustable version of the device thus the datasheet is correct.

Yes, you are right. when you want to use the part of the fixed voltage versions, just connect the FB to Vout. Because the fixed voltage versions already have the resistor divider inside the IC. You can see the Functional Block Diagrams in page 8. Thank you！

Hi Daniel
there is typo in the datasheet. please connect the FB pin to GND for the fixed version device. actually the FB is disconnected with the internal circuit for the fixed version device. but to minimize the leakage current, we would suggest connect FB to GND.
