BQ29209: Is there an LFP version on the horizon to be released?

I'd like to use it in a 2s application, but the voltage thresholds are not quite appropriate for lithium iron phosphate.

    Hi,

    We have no plans at the moment for a different part specifically for LFP. If you want a 2S OVP device without cell balancing you can find the bq2947, bq2945xx, bq2961, bq2962 or bq7716 to see if any match your desired OVP.

    I see one that kinda satisfies my need for overvoltage protection, but not undervoltage or cell balance. In general, I don's see much available in the way of LFP protection chips. Is there so little market for LFP or is it so safe nobody cares about protection because of the greater safety associated with LFP?
