LM5117: Inverting Buck-Boost

Hi, team.

Our customer is design a inverting converter. Vin=36V, Vout=-15V, Iout=6A

is it possible to use the LM5117?

    LM5117 should be able to handle cusotmer's requirements for inverted buck-Boost design .

    The voltage across the FET's will be VIn+Vout ie 36+15V which is below the allowed VIn voltage in LM5117 .Also the Inductor average current would be around 8 to 9A which can be handled using external FETs .I would recommend using low frequency for avoiding higher switching losses . May be start with 200- 250Khz .
