I am using a bq4050 circuit along with a standalone charger. I am using 3s1p pack for initial studies. The pack voltage is presently around 9.9V. I find that the DSG mosfet is not turning on at all. I have wired up the circuit as per the application schematic.
Voltages at :
CHG pin = 5.3V
DSG pin = 0V
I have connected both PTCEN and PTC pin to ground as I am not using this feature. This is the only change in my circuit compared to the application schematic. The EVM is working perfectly fine in my application.
