TPS92691-Q1: Sepic efficiency

Part Number: TPS92691-Q1

Hi,

Do we have an estimated value of efficiency for the TPS92691-Q1 in a Sepic topology for the two below scenarios:

  • Scenario 1:
     Input voltage 9 V to 16 V from -40°C to 60°C
     Output max  60 V 60 W

  •  Scenario 2:
  •  Input voltage 9 V to 16 V from -40°C to 60°C
     Output max 30 V 15W 500mA

Do you have another reference for lighting row LEDs ?

Thanks and regards,

Mohamed

  • Hello Mohamed,

The efficiency will likely be similar to the numbers in the SEPIC EVM for similar power levels. Is it possible the output voltage will be lower than the input requiring a SEPIC? In any case it is a good design, but I could give you other recommendations if you would like. I would just need to know the full input and output voltage ranges.

    Regards,

    Clint
