Hi, team.

We use LMR14030SQDPRRQ1, WSON, w/Spread Spectrum.

WSON package is limitd that maximum Css is 4.7nF.

But even if Css is 4.7nF, inrush current is too big, so I put 1 MΩ in parallel with Css.

Is it any problem.

Hi,
This is feasible, if ctm accept this solution, we suggest to use a Css cap larger than 4.7nF, say 22nF or even higher according to ctm's application requirement, and add 5Mohm~10Mohm resister parallel with Css.

Hi, Luke.

The big resistance value is weak in noise, so more than 1 MΩ can't be used.

Is the reliability of the IC affected by this solution?

Hirotsugu san, no risk of adding 1Mohm bleeding resistor.
