LM5175: Current limit detection delay time

Part Number: LM5175

Does LM5175 have delay time from current limit detection to turn off FET.

Please let me know the value if it has. I don't require guaranteed value, reference value is OK.

I think it doesn't have delay time but there is response delay of detection circuit. If it is so, is it within a few hundred ns?

  • Hi Kohei,

The LM5175 uses valley current mode for buck and peak current mode for buck. The current limit response time is within the minimum pulse width for LDRV1/LDRV2. Typically values for the pulse widths observed on the bench are ~250ns.
