My hardware platform is TMS570LS0714+TPS6531,using the demo program by TI, and found this funtion WdgFailCount = ecmpGetWdgFailCount(); the WdgFailCount lways 6 or maybe 7.can not is 0;

    I'm looping in an expert on this part, but in the meantime could you describe any alterations you are making within the code related to the device?

    Section 5.4.1.12 of the TPS65381 datasheet describes the counter in more detail, where good events will decrement the fail counter. Would any of these good or bad events correspond to your implementation?

    Hi,

    The TMS570/Hercules software library is supported by the TMS570/Hercules team, posting to their forum will get a much better response. We have multiple customers using the TMS570 + TPS65381 using the software libraries, so I'm assuming you have configured something incorrectly in the software libraries that is then not giving good answers or triggers to the TPS65381. If there are specific questions about how the TPS65381 watchdog works, please see the datasheet sections on the watchdog or ask them here. For the software libraries our team can support TMS team if necessary if there are issues in the software. Please provide exactly what software you are using and how you have configured the window times for the TPS65381 and what timing you have configured the TMS570 to be providing the answers or triggers so they and we can help you.
