Battery Powered isolated dc dc converter

Genius 3300 points
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1050

Hi,

I need a ultra low dc dc converter whose own current consumption is as low as possible, as system will be battery powered.
1. Output: Need to drive the isolated CAN side of ISO1050.

2. Input:   I have below options available,  can use any one whose better solutions is available

                  a) 3.3V Input
                  b) 12.5V-25V dc

3. Options: It is preferrable if it can be sodlered by hand easily, rather than machine. Like IC with pads below it are not preferrable.

  • Hi,

Thanks for post your enquiry. Does the power supply have to cross the isolation boundary as well? You can use the TI Webench design tool to show a number of options for isolated and non-isolated designs. I suggest you take a look at the Webench tool and if you see something that is suitable for your application then we can help with any further questions.

    Regards

    Peter
