Hello All,
I have a set up, where the EV2300 communicates with the battery's BMS, and bqEVSW communicates with the EV2300. This provides the computer with bqEVSW a log of the charge status, etc. In most cases it works well, but occasionally I get a computer which will not communicate with the EV2300 via USB. The computers are identical (same board, BIOS image, flash drive image, etc.). If a computer does not communicate with the EV2300, said EV2300 will still communicate with a test laptop. Additionally, invariably the computers will still take another USB device, such as a mouse or memory stick. I've ensured there's no difference in bqEVSW software versions (0.09 on the splash screen and bq34z100R1 v0.06 -v0.07 when no communication- on the top bar). USB versions are the same. Operating systems are the same. What could be causing this? Is there a way to ensured firmware within the EV2300 is the same? That's the only thing I can think of which might be different (but keep in mind that in such a situation, the EV2300 will still communicate with a test laptop, so the firmware issue seems a bi of a long shot).
Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
Kind Regards,
JB
