BQ76930EVM: Maximum discharge current

Part Number: BQ76930EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76930, TIDA-00449

Hi,

Regarding the BQ76930 evaluation module, it is reported that the maximum charge/discharge continuous current is set at 15A.

I wanted to know if there was any modification that could be done changing some of the components on the board to operate at much higher discharge currents (70A+).

One of TI's reference design (TIDA-00449) supports discharge currents of up to 50A, could you maybe point out what design aspects allow such a jump in maximum current limitations and what kinds of modifications would further increase this maximum to 70A+.

Thanks very much
