LMG3410: usage of the device in full bridge to generate +400V to -70V drive

After reading advance info/datasheet and some details, I was wandering if this device can be used in full bridge mode to generate +400V /-70V drive --- Yes I am interested in in positive 400V and negative 70V .

I am thinking about driving capacitive load of about 450nF up to 400hz in sinusoidal drive...

Are there any limitations ?

Can we use the same device to generate 400V /-70V as well ?

is there a way to configure it to make it work in like class D amplifier to save power ?

Thank you for your interest in LMG3410.

We have half bridge EVM available online (www.ti.com/.../lmg3410-hb-evm) and you should be able to use two of it for full bridge application.

The design limitation depends on your switching frequency. You can estimate you switching loss based on "Fig 7 Hard-switched Half-Bridge Turn-on and Turn-off Switching Energy vs Drain Current" in the datasheet. The LMG3410 half bridge EVM, should be able to run @ 100-200 kHz switching frequency for your application.

I have the EVM --one half bridge board on my hand now.

Do you have any recommendation on circuit implementation ?

Hi, Shah

For full-bridge configuration, you may need two LMG3410 half-bridge EVMs.

You can design your own main board and apply PWM signal and bias to the EVM for your application.

Please find the recommended footprint for LMG3410 EVM ( www.ti.com/.../technicaldocuments )
