TPS62150: About behavior at "VIN < VOUT"

Guru 21045 points
Part Number: TPS62150

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to use the step down DC-DC at the following conditions.

However, we can’t find the suitable device…

(We understand that TPS62150 can’t support.)

[Customer conditions]

-VIN=around 3.4V to 8V

-VOUT=3.3V

-IOUT=600mA to 800mA

-EN voltage is applied when VIN isn’t applied.

So, they need the device that the absolute maximum of EN pin does not depend on VIN.

-The external voltage is applied to VOUT side at “VIN < External voltage(VOUT)”

They worry about the reverse current so they need the device that have the reverse current block function.

Could you please let us know if you have any suitable device?

I would appreciate it if I could get your accurate advice.

Regards,

Kanemaru
