TLV1117: Enquiry on TLV1117CDCYR

Part Number: TLV1117

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are using TLV1117CDCYR, adjustable LDO regulator, in our project. When the load to output of this LDO regulator is removed, the OUTPUT pin is 1.31V greater than ADJUST pin. But when there is load current 15mA, the voltage drops from 1.31V to 1.27V.

From data spec extracted below, does it means that the load current must be within 10mA to 800mA so that the voltage difference between OUTPUT pin and ADJUST pin will be very close to reference voltage, 1.25V?

In section 8.4.3, is the bias current refer to 5mA or 80uA? Am I right to say it is normal that the output voltage is higher if there is no load? Thanks.

Best regards,

kpk
