BQ24230: BQ24230 TS monitor range

Hi All,

During charging, INTC is sourced to TS and the voltage at TS is continuously monitored. If, at any time, the voltage at TS is outside of the operating range (V COLD to V HOT ), charging is suspended.

Because it is INTC source control, so it can't modify thereshold.

If my customer want to setting temperature protect durning 0-45 degC, How to setting??? 

If we want to meet this spec, What can i do? add circuit? or any suggest solution?? 

Charger Spec : 30mA and 500mA  (BQ24075T can't meet 30mA charge current)

    Unfortunately, the temperature window can only be extended not to be narrowed. This means the temperature window for this device with 103AT thermister, the charging temperature window is 0 to 50C. By adding external resistors, this window can be extended to, for example, 0 to 60C. However, it cannot be narrowed down to 0 to 45C.

    Same applies to bq24075T.

    For 0-45C charging window, please consider bq2403x as power path option, and bq21040 as non-power path option.

    Thank you for your reply.

    BQ24075T can't setting Ichg = 30mA .
    BQ21040 haven't power path.

    If we want to add circuit. How to do?? ( If RTC can change )
    Do you have any idea??

    How about this. we are add comparator in TS pin and setting other Thot level.
    And output pin connect to CE pin.
    If lower this level, It will pull high CE pin, and disable charger function.
