Or is that a thing of the past?

Hi Eric,
I reviewed your schematic and for the most part everything seems correct. Although, I am curious why are there are zero ohm place holders for pull-down resistors on the EN1/EN2 pins. There is already internal pull-downs that can be disabled and enabled, they are enabled by default. Hence, I am assuming you are using i2c to enable/disable the regulators. Also, I would recommend adding a .1uF capacitor in parallel on each one of your output rails. The 22uF capacitor probably has a high ESR, which you can minimize using a small .1uF capacitor. It can usually help by improving your transient response.
