BQ24297: What to do with TS when not used

Hello,

I will use a BQ24297 on my next design, but I don't need TS pin functionality. What should I do with the pin? Is it better to let it float or to tie to something (VDD, VBAT, GND or something else)?

    Hey Stefano,

    If you are not utilizing the TS pin, you need a put a fixed resistor divider from REGN to TS that will force a constant TS = % of REGN.

    A resistor divider like 5.25k and 7.57k will give you about 60% of REGN @ TS. Refer to Figure 40 in the datasheet.
