Hello,

I have a PCB in production that uses the TPS544B20. I need to build a new batch, but only have TPS544C20 devices in stock. Can I substitute the TPS544C20 into the TPS544B20 location with no other design changes?

They are of course pin compatible. Modification on OCW/OCP thresholds through PMBUS are suggested when dropping TPS544C20 in a TPS544B20 design.

I can only think of the OCP function. Your new current limit may be much higher than the rating of your inductor. If you are not concerned about over current faults, then I cannot think of anything else.
