TPS40200: Output Limit of TPS40200

Hi Sir,

From TI webside, TPS40200 can output up to 3A, but from spec, IC should output 10A with 100mV limit voltage and 10mOhm risistor, am I right?

How 3A output current be defined, thank you very much.

I do not see any reference in the datasheet that limits the output current to 3 A. Where did you see that limitation?

It's from TI webside. BTW, in spec, all application and efficiency curve are under 3A output.

The limitation could be the internal MOSFET driver. "200-mA Internal P-channel FET Driver" might be too weak to drive a high current PFET.
