TPS92638-Q1: Allowable capacitance on REFHI and REF pins

Hi Team,

What is the allowable capacitance on the REFHI and REF pins of the TPS92638-Q1?

In my design, there is a very long trace to the reference resistor that has some capacitors hanging on the trace. Please let me know how much capacitance I can hang off that trace before the pin will be negatively impacted.

    Hi Jared,

    Actually, we do not recommend connecting reference resistor with long trace, which has parasitic inductance and may lead to instability. Can I know how long trace did you apply to the resistor? I can ask our designer to help to simulate to see its performance.
