Hi,

What is the significance of the Comparator OV and UV Thresholds?

How are they different from OV and UV Thresholds?

I am using Lithium ion batteries (16 series, Panasonic 18650b), 4.2 Volt.

What should be normal values of Comparator OV and UV Thresholds?

    Ritul,

    The pl455 is a monitor (AFE), and secondary protector. The comparator OV and UV thresholds determine when each channels window comparators will set an error flag.

    Cell OV and UV will set an error flag when the AFE measures a cell OV/UV.

    The value really depends on your cell chemistry. I recommend looking at the cell datasheet and using that as the basis for your thresholds
