bq21040: TS pin operation

Hi Expert,

If bq21040 is at battery only condition ,will the TS function still work?

Another question is the TS pin internal source current still source current from TS pin?

Customer will connect TS pin to MCU to read thermal information so they need to know is measurement result different in adaptor mode or battery mode?

please advise.

The TS pin will not work when in battery only condition.

So in battery only condition, the TS internal source current circuit will stop, am I right?

Hello Paul,

Correct. When only the battery is connected and no adapter the TS pin will not work.
