UC28023: Application schematic for the UC28023 - How to connect the ILIM/REF pin on the UC28023

I am planning to use the UC28023 as a peak current mode controller.

But I am not quite sure how I should connect the ILIM/REF pin (pin 11). The UC28023/UC28025 data sheet doesn't show an application schematic for the UC28023.

Can you supply an applicatio schematic for the UC28023 used in a peak current mode control configuration?

I do not care about the converter topology.

    Hi Lars,

    The ILIMREF pin on the UC28023 is used to set the current limit threshold externally. This is for current limit protection, not for the topology peak current mode control law implementation. You can use a resistive divider off VREF to set this threshold but note that the 1.4 V shutdown threshold sets the max value to 1.4 V or less.

    Follow Figure 8 in the UCC28023 datasheet for peak current mode control. Sorry, but there is no example application design anywhere for the single output UC28023.
