UCC27324: Noise influence

Part Number: UCC27324

Hi,

My customer is considering the UCC27324 for driving converter of power conditioner and they are evaluating it.

They operate the UCC27324 by TTL signal(0V-5V), however the UCC27324 is occurring a malfunction by influence of noise at input pin.

They are taking measure by decreasing switching speed tentatively, though efficiency get worse.

Is there any other good countermeasure?

Best Regards,

Kuramochi

  • TQ,

Thanks for the interest in the UCC27324. To alleviate the influence of any noise at the input pins, my recommendation is to add a small filter, either just a capacitor (10~100pF), or a capacitor plus a series resistor (~100ohm) at each INA and INB.

I am curious regarding the type of noise (amplitude, frequency) and the type of malfunction observed. Any details regarding these two items would be useful in case the above suggestion does not resolve the behavior observed.

    Regards,
