BQ24650: What is the maximum expected efficiency of embedded MPPT control algorithm?

Hi,

The data sheet of BQ24650 says :

"The constant voltage algorithm is the simplest Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method.
The bq24650 automatically reduces charge current so the maximum power point is maintained for maximum efficiency."

1> So what is the maximum expected efficiency of the embedded MPPT control algorithm on the BQ24650 Solar charge controller?
in terms of percentage (%) preferably.

Hi Swaroop,

According to solar panel's IV curve, there is a maximum power point voltage(V_MPP). We set input voltage divider of BQ24650 to maintain solar panel output voltage at the V_MPP. So that the solar panel could operate at the maximum power as high as it can. The maximum power is according to the solar panel sepc.
