TPS5432: TPS5432 Low side Mosfet short circuit

Dear sir

         My customer use tps5432 , has a problem:  tps5432 low side mosfet is damaged, test result is low side mosfet short. Can you give some suggestion?

we suspect that big sink current caused its damge. Customer power tree is : Vin=220V(TOP254)---5V--TPS5432--3.3V for FPGA/TMS320F28335.

One questioin: What time can cause sink current for tps5432?

Terminal customer turn off the power every day, which can cause sink current this moment?

tps5432 sink current only can support 1.8A. Customer sch as below :

    Hi,

    TPS5432 seems like a FCCM part, the sink current would be obzerved ususlly at light load or when Vout is higher than Vout, but TPS5432 has reverse overcurrent protection. Is there any other power supply connected to the output then make Vout higher than Vin? TMS320F28335
