TPS53513: AGnd and PGND

Part Number: TPS53513

Hello,

On TPS53513 datasheet, Pin 22 connect to thermal pad then thermal pad connect to PGND. But on EVM schematics, the Pin 22 connect to AGND. What is correct for them? How to connect to pin 22 GND, Pin 27 GND1, Pin 28 GND2 by AGND and PGND? Thank you.

BR

Patrick

  • I recommend you follow the datasheet suggestions. The EVM PCB is designed to accommodate both the PMBus and non-PMBus versions of the IC. So they use zero ohm resistors to allow pins 27 and 28 to be connected to GND or not. You can tie pin 22 directly to the thermal pad under the IC.
