BQ27411-G1: fuel gauge use with BQ29732 protector IC (low side current measurement

Part Number: BQ27411-G1

Hello TI experts,

we just designed in BQ27411 together with BQ29732 protection IC.

My question is if we have a right order of the ICs placed in our system, meaning if BQ29732 can be closer to battery followed by BQ27411 or if it needs to be the other way around - fuel gauge first and then protection.

I'm worried about correct fuel gauge sensing - if the protection IC does not interfere the fuel gauge measurement. I noticed most of the reference designs use fuel gauge connected to battery followed by protection. We have it the opposite way. Hope this is fine.

Would you be so kind to review our schematics (if it can be used as followed) below. Note: 1 cell is connected to BAT- and BAT+

Thank you.

BR,

Daniel
