Hello,

I have a question about TLC5954 LED Driver communication.

Currently I use A12A20 CPU, and willing to communicate to LED Driver as below picture.

My question is if there any problem when I implement LED Driver line with above SMIO Interface.

And I also wonder the basic communication interface of TLC5954.

I'm okay for TI's TLC5954 cannot support SMIO interface, but plase let me know the basic communication interface of TLC5954.

Hi, TS,

I'm not familiar with A12A20 CPU and didn't find enough info about SMIO interface.

From your diagram, you connect SMIO with GPIO. If they can used to be GPIO, there should be no problem.

You can also check with datasheet Figure 24. Data Write and OUTXn On or Off Timing Diagram, if SMIO can generate these signals correctly, then it'll be OK.
