TPS23754: TPS23754 start up issue

Part Number: TPS23754

Hi TI.

issue on TPS23754’s aging test. The PD device doesn’t work at the power supply of 35V, so they want to change UVLO below 35V.

Can you let me know which point to modify in the attached schematic?

FYI – In EVM user guide, I see that the operating voltage is possible from 30V.

  • Hi BJ,

Unfortunately, you can not change the UVLO which is determined by the TPS23754 itself. In the EVM user guide, it says after start up, the voltage can be as low as 30V, but the input voltage UVLO rising is 36V and falling edge is 30V. It means when you startup, the input voltage should be higher than 36V, after startup, the voltage can be reduced to as low as 30V. If you have to use low input voltage, you can supply the PD with external adapter instead of PSE. Thanks.

    Best regards,

    Penny
