What is the correct connection of PWRDN on the TPS659118 when this pin is not used?
SWCA116C, the TPS65911x Schematic Checklist, says, under Not Used Features in Table 1, "Floating or based on implementation. That is, if PWRDN is active low in EEPROM then tie to VRTC to avoid device reset." (page 5)
SWCU176, the TPS659118 User's Guide for 66AK2G02, says in table 2 (page 8) that the EEPROM configures PWRDN_POL to be 1, or active high. Thus PWRDN should not be tied to VRTC according to the advice in the schematic checklist. However this is contradicted in Figure 2 (page 3), which says of PWRDN "(If not used, connect to VRTC)".
Can you clarify the preferred connection for unused PWRDN?
