Hi,

I am using BQ24450 for my 1.5 A battery charger. Is there any way I can easily replace it with a switching mode device.

    bq24450 is a linear lead acid charger. For switching mode lead acid charger, you can check bq2031. From a linear charger to a switching charger, there are many differences: such as switching FET, inductor... We cannot just replace an IC to convert a linear charger to a switching charger.
