Hi,

I am using BQ27441-G1A fuel guage with MSP430 controller in my project. I have few questions:

1) As per my understanding it is RAM based, do i need to initialise battery parameter everytime after removing the battery?
2) How can i store battery parameter permanently in fuel guage?

You can start bqstudio, connect bq27441, and then click the data memory tab and write the parameters such as design capacity, full charge voltage etc.. it will be saved permanently in data flash

Does that mean battery parameters will remain stored in flash memory permanently even if i removed the battery from the device?

If yes, Can i further updated battery parameter in fuel guage in future , or it is one time programmable(OTP) flash memory?
