UCC28950: PROXY, KO Systems

Bill,

It looks like SLUP125 is from 2001.  I can't find KO Systems online either and the phone number on the reference goes some place else.  There was one google search result that downloads a .rar file but my computer doesn't trust it (link).

I'll do some digging to try to find the author or find a download or some new analysis tool.

I've heard back and we don't have any tools off hand that can predict, calculate, or optimize for proximity effect.  We recommend taking a look at the IEEE paper:

"Optimizing the AC Resistance of Multilayer Transformer Windings with Arbitrary Current Waveforms”, Hurley, Gath, Breslin, IEEE Trans. Power Elect., 2000"

which talks about optimum wire diameter, layer height, and has a table of equations for many common current waveforms.
