UCC28070: Output power limit

Hi,

I wanna design an interleaving PFC circuit with UCC28070. The input line voltage range is 180 to 270 volts. The DC output voltage is 380 volts and the maximum output power is about 7KW.

I have two questions regarding my design.

1) Does the UCC28070 itself limit the output power or the output power of my design only depends on the IGBTs' current rating and design of PFC inductor?

2) I have once successfully designed a 3KW output power PFC pre-regulator with UCC28070. Can I use the same voltage and current loop compensation in my new design as the 3KW design?

1. The UCC28070 is only a controller and it will not limit the output power, the output power is depended on your power stage design.

2. The loop compensation should be re-tuning since the load and power stage change.
