Hi,

I am using 60V/20Ah(series of 5 battery each 12V) lead acid battery.what are the parameters i need to configure and what is the Design energy value of my battery pack.

Hi,

You will need to configure the data flash parameters of the "Configuration" class. This class will have sub classes such as "Safety", "Charge Inhibit Cfg", and "Charge Termination" etc. Their specific values will depend on your operating conditions. You can find more information about the parameters on page 24 of the datasheet.

Your design energy is your design capacity * design voltage. So in your case that would be 60V * 20Ah = 1200Wh

Thank u for ur help nabil.and also i need to read pack configuration register after write.if i shutdown my system then i start means can i read the configured value of pack configuration register.

Yes, the cell information and configurations are stored in the the flash memory. Once you write them into the device through bqStudios or individual commands, they can be read even after power cycling the device.
