We have questions about TPS54A20.

Can we use TPS54A20 under the following conditions?

   Vin=12V

   Vout=2.5V

   Iout=6A

We can not understand difference between Recommended and Theoretical in datasheet P.11 Figure 24 .

Please tell me the difference between Recommended and Theoretical in datasheet P.11 Figure 24 .

    TPS54A20 is a synchronous 2 phase series capacitor converter. In the ideal case, the maximum output voltage is one fourth of the input voltage. That is the red "theoretical" plot in figure 24. In practical terms, you cannot operate at the ideal maximum. So we provided a recommended maximum based on out evaluation and follow the "recommended" limit as shown by the black curve.
