TPS7A84: About Vfb

Hi,

My customers design uses an external resistor to set the output voltage.
Could you tell me the MIN and MAX values of Vfb?
If it is difficult to answer this question, would you please confirm the following?

The accuracy of the four output voltages is specified in the data sheet.
The MIN value is (0.8 V - 1.0%) V.
Since it is stated that external resistance accuracy is not included, the accuracy of VFB is also considered ± 1%.

Is this correct?

    Hi Mayumi,

    The main source of inaccuracy for LDOs is the reference voltage. Because of this we know that the accuracy of VFB for TPS7A84 will be within +/- 1% without a bias rail or +/- 0.75% using a bias rail.

    You may also want to consider using the TPS7A84A, which is pin to pin compatible with the TPS7A84. Using the TPS7A84A removes the sequencing requirements that the TPS7A84 has.

    I inform this answer to my customer.

    TPS7A84 is already a registered device of this customer and also has special price.
    So, customers are now evaluating TPS7A84 with EVM.
    If my customer requests additional sequence for additional,I can introduce TPS 7 A 84 A immediately to customers.
