Has anyone seen instances of the remaining capacity percentage level on the bq2050H counting up and down too fast?
I'm seeing an issue where the fuel gauge will show drastic jumps in remaining capacity when applying a charge or a load.
The voltage will show a good value, say 12000mV, but when even a light load is applied (-400mA), the remaining capacity when drop in huge chucks down to zero% in a matter of no time.
This is causing issues where the pack is reporting zero% but the voltage is still good.
Resetting the bq2050h seems to resolve the problem.
I realize this is an older part, but any insight as to what may be causing this would be helpful and appreciated.
