UCC29950: LED driver with PWM dimming using UCC29950

Part Number: UCC29950
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3466

Dear all,

I'm designing an LED luminary driver (Offline AC-DC driver), upto 100W, dual channel. The LED's will be PWM dimmed using LM3466, to which the PWM signal is provided by a microcontroller. I'm planning to feed this PWM signal to the FB pin by mapping it to the regular optocoupler signal, after inverting it. can you please let me know if I'm way off base on this? If I don't use this approach and just drive the LED string by PWM, so that the LLC faces discontinuous load, does that create problems? Thank you for your assistance
