BQ25504EVM-674: Strange test results. Not sure if I'm being dumb.

Part Number: BQ25504EVM-674

Hello, I am using the BQ25504EVM-674 and am getting some interesting test results.  I've connected the input voltage to a function generator which delivers a 1V square wave. R-DIV and OCS in JP1 are shorted with a jumper. I have a 10k load between the STOR and GND pins in J6.I've hooked up 4 meters to J4,J2,J5, and J3. I am attaching the image I took. The graph does not look like the one in the user guide. Channel 1 is J4, Ch2 is J3, Ch 3 is J2, and Ch 4 is J5. Any help is appreciated.

  • HI Rohit,

    What graph in the user's guide are you referring to?

    For clarity:
    CH1 = BAT_OK;
    CH2 = VIN;
    CH3 = VBAT;
    CH 4 = VSTOR;

    It looks like you have the input oscillating positive and negative. This device is rated for a maximum of -0.3V to 5.5V on the input. Please add an offset so it is not negative on the input.
