BQ76920: to verify the selection of ICs for a complete battery management system

dear All,

i selected the bellowing ICs to work in a complete battery management system.

- charger: BQ24618 ( standalone 1-6 C charger )

- gauge: BQ34Z100 ( host controlled fuel gauge )

- moitor: BQ76920 ( host controlled protection )

- host: C2000 MCU

the charger works independently. the gauge and monitor are under the control of a C2000 MCU.

it is my first battery management.

please consider the ICs and verify it?

Hi Ras,

I don't see why they won't work together. As long as you have the right components and follow the application section of each DS for each part then i don't see you having any problems. Please feel free to come back if you get stuck.

i have designed a complete battery management system.

as it is my first battery-based project i was not sure about the combination of ICs to work correctly.
