Hello All,

I am using TPS51315 and currectly I am re-layouting my board - fixing other issues.

I saw at TI web site that this component is not recommended for new designs.

Is this component going to be obselete?

TI suggest other replacement but I dont want to change this circuit (its working).

Will TI going to produce this component for long?

What are you suggesting me to do?

    Hello Talor;

    TPS51315 continues to be in production to support existing customer.

    I suggest you to use TPS53319. Since you are re-layouting your board, you can consider to use TPS53319. TPS53319 is easy to use, low external component count and has higher efficiency than TPS51315.
