As far as calculating value for common mode choke is concerned there are number of tools available (from choke manufacturers) online that could be used to determine necessary value. This will depend on several factors, such as current rating, desired attenuation, corner frequency of the filter etc.
It is also possible to use Webench "Input filter " design tool to get started with EMI input filter design. The input filter design process is highly iterative and will require, in most cases, several attempts to achieve desired performance.
