Hi ,

My customer is looking for a 4/8 channel LED driver with independent control for the current for each channel.

The control must be through a linear current source – LP5562 is a good candidate, however theuy would need that the VDD and IOs to be 9V tolerant.

What device can be offered ? (this is a huge business going into active cables) ?

Hi Ariel,
We have no device which can support VDD and I/O up to 9V. Suggest you put some regulator circit in the VDD and resistor divider for the I/O.
TLC59108 is 8 channel device, you also can try it.

Hi Summer ,

The customer informed me that he would need the IO only to support 9V (The LED IOs).
The Vdd can stay 3.3V. Likewise, we need the LED current control to be linear current source and not PWM.

Do we have any suitable device that can fit in this case ?
