Hi,

How to connect the EVM to the gauge via the ExtLoad+/Extload- GDK terminal?

I'd like to confirm that the connection should be made on the ExtLoad+/ExtLoad- terminal on the GDK and SYS/GND terminal on the EVM??? and NOT the Vbus/Gnd teerminal on the EVM?

    Yes, I checked that document.

    Connect the external load/charge connectors of the EVM to the External Load+/Charger+ (J4) and External Load–/Charger– (J8) connectors of the GDK.

    In this part, it wasn't specify which part of the EVM should it connect so I tried conencting it to the SYS/GND in the EVM and it seems to work.

    Another question, I tried charging a very low state battery by setting the charge current in the bqstudio - gdk tab to 1000 mA. But the actual currrent is only around ~470mA.  Is it somehow being limited to 500 mA? Why are we not getting close to 1A even though we set it this way?

    What is the capacity of your battery? Is the charger already at the max charging voltage because if that is the case, the current has already started to taper.
